HaPpY EaStEr!

Gracelyn and Landon on Easter Sunday, in their new outfits! So- Cute!

What a fun Easter. On Saturday we went to Grandma Keith's House (Kip's Grandma) and we had an Easter Egg hunt! It has been mine and Kip's choice to do all comercialized easter activities on the Saturday before easter, and then have Easter Sunday be the "true meaning of Easter". Of course it would be Satan's way to take two of the greatest holidays ( Chiristmas and Easter) and take away all their real meaning. It's about the Savior, not presents. Anyway... I just went off on a tangent. So back to Saturday...the Easter Egg Hunt was so fun! Gracelyn loved the eggs with play-doh inside, they were her favorite. (Surprisingly!) She also loved the eggs that were actual egg. She loves eggs, I just didn't know that she like hard- boiled eggs. She just wanted to stay outside the whole day. Kip's whole family was there (extended family) It was so much fun! That is one of the many things that is so great about my husband, he has a great family and most of his extended family lives in Utah County, so we get to see them often too. After the Easter Egg Hunt we had a BBQ with hot dogs, salads, etc. So yummy. It was a great time. Gracelyn wore one of her two Easter outfits we got her. We just don't go all crazy on the gifts for Easter, then when she's older we will explain the great importance of Easter and the true GIFT of the Savior and His atonement and Resurrection.

This is Gracelyn upset that she had to wait for the Easter Egg Hunt to start!

Gracelyn and her cousin Landon swinging on the Swing! So Fun! They are such good friends, and they love to play together!

Gracelyn's new thing is to tell everyone how old she is. We would love to say that she has come up with this trick on her own, but her cousin Landon has been doing for months, and he is younger than she is, but she is just catching on! :0) We love Landon for teaching her all his cute tricks!

Me and Boo! (Doesn't she look like Boo from Monster's Inc.) That is what I have been calling her lately. "Boo". Which is ironic because when I was growing up my nick name was Boo.

Sunday, we went to church and Gracelyn had a great time in nursery. They made play-doh and got to take it home, and blew up balloons, and colored a very cute Easter picture. They went all out! When I picked her up from nursery, the leaders just tell me how great she is and how much she loves nursery. I am so glad! Then we went to the Lewis' for dinner. We had a pork roast, cheesy potatoes, asparagus, salad, and rolls. Kip's mom told us that the dinner we ate was similar to that of the Last Supper. Kip's parents gave us real Silver for our Easter gifts, for our food storage. It was really great. Gracie and Landon played outside with the dogs. :0) They love those dogs. (Kip's dad breeds Border Collies), and the mom dog had puppies a few months ago. And then after dinner, we came home and read all the past prophets testimonies of the Savior. It was really neat. I felt the Spirit so strong!

Gracie's dress is SO sweet! I think yellow is my favorite on little girls. They always look so cute in yellow, although Stella always wants to pick pink! Thanks for your testimony about Christ. You're such a great example to me. We miss you guys!
