A Great Christmas!

Well now that things are settled down I thought I would take the time to post about Christmas. On Christmas Eve before my dad flew into town we went to the parents' house to play games and eat a late lunch early dinner. We played Nerts with Reg & Carissa, and Zach & Jen, it was so much fun, especially since we WON! Zach had a look of constipation while he played cards, lets just says he is not one for much of the game playing. But, Jennifer on the other hand said that we are going to have a re-match at her house sometime, I am totally up for that. We had Taco Soup and breadsticks and before we knew it we were off to the airport to pick up my dad. His flight was late, but he finally got in at about 7pm. We drove straight from the airport to my Uncle Dave and Aunt Kathy's for dessert. Also, my uncle Doug and his family came over too. We talked about life, and ate some yummy dessert, then we played a mean game of Catch Phrase! It was such a blast, especially when Adam descrobed the word fruit as "Another name for a gay person!" HaHa we were all laughing really hard over that one. It was just funny that he didn't start naming different types of fruit. :0) Good times. Good Times.

Christmas Day. Gracelyn didn't wake up until 9:30am. Kip wanted to wake her up so bad, but it was really nice that she slept in that long. Then she finally woke up and saw all the presents and she was so excited! She got a kitchen, fake food and dishes, clothes, a farm, and a princess blanket and pillow. (Thanks Dad) BUT that wasn't good enough for her, after opening all her presents she had to open all of mine...the sad part is I wouldn't let her. I REALLY enjoy opening presents! :0) It was a great Christmas! I think Christmas as a parent is a million times better! After opening presents PaDave and Grammie came over and saw all that we got, then their car got stuck in the snow in our drive-way so all the boys had to shovel them out! It was FREEZING outside and pretty much a blizzard. So Kip, my dad, and Gracie decided to shovel the walks and our driveway. Here are some cute pics from that.

Then after dropping my dad off at the airport that night, we went to Jarem and Lindy's to celebrate Landon's birthday. He turned 2! He is such a cute fella. He got a wiggle car for Christmas and he and Gracie were playing with it, it was really cute! :0) We ate ham, funeral potatoes, and jello. It was really good. Thanks Lindy!
