Walk-or-Treat?

These past 2 weeks have been crazy at our house. We found out on Monday that Kip has Pneumonia, and we are so grateful to finally know what has been wrong with him. He was sick for over a week, and completely wiped out, and then he developed a terrible cough, and that's when we decided it was time to see the dr. He is now on anti-biotics and feeling significantly better.

This post is titled Walk-or-Treat for a reason. Ha. On Wednesday we went to Kip's parent's Trunk or Treat. They have the young women and young men set up rooms in the church for an activity for the kids to get candy, like a bean bag toss, fishing, cake walk, musical chairs, etc. Very cute. But they assigned each group to be in there 15 min. Keeping any 2-3 year old in one place for 15 min. when there is a party going on. Not happening. It was a lot of work to keep Gracelyn from going into the next "room". Then afterword there was a "walk- or -treat" in the gym, it was too cold to do it outside, so that's what they came up with. Perfect. I prefer warmth.
Gracie's words when we got in the car after it was done, "That was a great Party!"
I guess controlled chaos (as Lindy rightfully put it) was worth it. To make the kids happy!
